About Us

Chadwick began in 1985 in a yellow Victorian house filled with English, American, and continental antiques. In 1989 our antique shop expanded, moved down the block and now fills almost 10,000 square feet on beautiful Grove Avenue in Richmond, Virginia. Over the years we have added elegant decorative accessories and unique gift items that complement our antiques -- needlepoint and Aubusson pillows, colorful throws, fine lingerie, dressy table linens, unique oil paintings, shiny silver and cut crystal. Together all of these elements became the Chadwick way of life, or Chadwick Living; children in smocked dresses, ladies in elegant sleepwear, men with handsome neckties. Bathrooms with linen hand towels and fine milled soaps. Dining rooms with gold leaf mirrors, porcelain vases and fancy crystal. Now these items are available beyond our four walls.
